Piedmont Pines is a luxurious residential neighborhood nestled in the scenic hills of Oakland, California. Many of the luxury homes are exquisitely preserved or freshly renovated, prairie and Craftsman style originally built in the 1950’s. There are also quite a few lots available for new construction. All of the classic properties in Piedmont Pines lie in the hills among lush pine and redwood trees. This forest like setting lends itself to a rustic mountain town feel—very hard to find in the Bay Area! The vast majority of the homes are luxury residential properties around  $1M.

Piedmont Pines is a fantastic location for young families or others that enjoy a peaceful setting and appreciate nature. While it is not within walking distance of shopping or restaurants, there are miles and miles of hiking trails. The neighborhood is surrounded by parks and trails within the East Bay Regional Park District. Joaquin Miller Park and Redwood Regional Park border Piedmont Pines, offering hikes and redwoods as a respite from the bustle of the Bay.

Apart from busy commute times, Highway 13 will quickly connect residents to Interstates 580 and 880 to get to Oakland, San Francisco or the South Bay, or Highway 24 to get to Walnut Creek and beyond.
